Travis Schroeder (Pierceton, Ind.) and Tom Reed (Cromwell, Ind.) beat out 33 teams with a limit weighing 11.61 pounds to win the R&B Circuit season finale on Lake Wawasee last weekend.

The duo won $690, plus $264 for the Starboard Choice Marine Big Bass Award for their 3.69-pound largemouth. The team found a 30-yard stretch of weeds between 18-20 feet deep on Lake Wawasee where they caught their fish by working ½-ounce swimbaits.

Teddy Bradley (Mishawaka) and Mark Fennell (Lagrange) were second ($432) with a limit weighing 11.08 pounds, good enough for them to repeat as Points Champions, worth an additional $400. They fished Syracuse Lake exclusively where they caught fish on a plastic frog, chigger craw, jig, crankbait, and swimbait. They primarily focused on thick weed clumps on breaklines.

Third-place finishers ($260) Mark Farver (Goshen) and Steve Kline (Albion, Ind.) also spent all of their time on Syracuse and caught over 20 keepers on spinnerbaits and jigs.

The R&B Classic will be at White Lake Oct. 13 where $5,000 is expected to be paid back. Visit www.randbbasscircuit.com for more info.
