Bassmaster Classic Pro Gerald SwindleFive 2014 Bassmaster Classic contenders - Brandon Palaniuk, Gerald Swindle, Ish Monroe, Kevin VanDam and Jonathon VanDam - will present seminars at D&R Sports Center Spring Fishing and Boat Show April 18-19.
In additional to the fishing seminars, factory reps from the nations top lure, tackle and electronics manufactures will be on hand both days to show the latest products and innovations. They include: Shimano, Daiwa, Loomis, Humminbird, Strike King, Quantum, Minn Kota, Motorguide, Shakespeare, Garcia, Fenwick, Berkley, St. Croix, Zebco, Fenwick, Okuma, Rapala, Storm, Berkley, Stren, Lowrance and many others.
Show hours are 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Other anglers to give seminars include Chris Noffsinger, Gerry Gostenik, Kyle Kempkers and outdoor television host, Mark Zona.
Zona, now simply known as "Z throughout the fishing world, went from a pro tournament angler to an outright TV star as a television host and celebrity on several popular outdoor shows. In addition to being a top-flight angler, the Sturgis, Mi. angler is host of Zonas Awesome Fishing Show on the Outdoor Channel and co-host of The Bassmasters on ESPN.
Kyle Kempkers is a B.A.S.S. Pro Angler with four Top-10 finishes and also guides deer, turkey and waterfowl hunts in Illinois.
Gerry Gostenik of Dearborn, Mich., is a professional fishing guide and tournament angler who has 15 years experience as a full-time guide and one of the top guides on Lake St. Clair.
Chris Noffsinger has more than 20 years experience as a professional fishing guide for smallmouth bass and salmon in northern Michigan. His website, www.northernadventuresfishing.com, receives thousands of visits per month from anglers looking for tips and information on the sport.
